Hello,
When connecting a non-SPB access-switch dual-homed to two switches in an SPB network, I create triangle, that should be resolved from fwd loops by spanning-tree; Which of the switches is recommended to be assigned the role of root bridge? And how can we prevent that a forwarding loop in the spanning-tree triangle at the edge blow up the SPT of the SPB network?
I know there is work ongoing within Avaya to allow dual homed UNI (i.e. have an IST for SMLT between the two SPB nodes), but i need a solution for this now.
