    1100 4.0 Unistim with VPN

I'm aware that the VPN client on an Avaya 1100 series Unistim phone requires terminating to a VPN device at the CS1000 location. Does the VPN device required need to be an Avaya VPN solution?
If so what are the options that are supported to terminate the VPN client?
Is the SR2330 supported to terminate the VPN client of the 1100 series phone at the CS1K location? Or is the option of a VMWare server with VPN software the only option?
    Thanks

While the Avaya VPN device/endpoint does not necessarily have to be an Avaya solution, for reliability and compatbility any deployment should be implemented with tested Avaya solutions.

    The 1100-series phone

w/ Unistim 4.0 introduced official support for the Avaya VPN Router (formerly Contivity) for AVR software release 8.0.x and above.
w/ Unistim 4.1 introduced official support for the Avaya VPN Gateway for AVG software releases 8.0.1.0 and above.
w/ Unistim 4.1 has been tested against the Avaya Secure Router 2330/4134 using software releases 10.3.2 and above. It is however not an officially supported termination point.
