Determining country of origin on old b7aystack equipment

I know this is probably off topic but I figured I'd start my quest here. I have a list of old baystack equipment that I need to determine the country of origin for. It's not being exported, I'm just required to get it documented. Is there a way to do this by serial number?

Most "old" BayStack switches were manufactured in either Taiwan or China.

For a given stackable product if you look at the label on the rear of the switch which has the model and serial numbers you will also see on the same label the place of manufacturer printed.
