how to use telnet server ip service port on 8600

I use cisco product a lot. I use telnet with server ip and service port and also set source ip as vlan ip to check the connection between the vlan and dest server service. It is useful command on the switch or router.
I am not sure if the 8600 also has similar command. I can not find or google it.
