help with Avaya Part numbers

Does anyone know what the -E number represents on the end of Avaya part numbers ?

sometimes its E5, or E6.etc are these the same part numbers as the ones with out the -E suffix ?

Hi there,

It is simply a different Product code for a slightly different product (different revision, different features etc.)
AA1419048-E6 is a 1000Base-SX SFP Module with DDI
AA1419001-E5 is a 1000Base-SX SFP Module without DDI
