Avaya 3550gt+ PWR HELP!

HI,

I currently have an Avaya 3550gt+ PWR (the small one ) and i have configured it and enable web servers, also configure using "run ipoffice".
All of this config was done using CLI with a cisco cable.

But my question is how do i get on GUI i have plugged my laptop into a port using an ethernet cable and cross over and type management IP in to several browsers and i get nothing, just "you are not connected to a network, or try again".

Please Help. i have posted before but i got a reply and i replied back and then it went dead

What have you set your computer's IP address to? Since you need to browse to 192.168.44.254, set your IP to 192.168.44.(NOT 254)

Be sure web server is enable on the switch To see status (show web-server)

CLI command to enable it: web-server enable

Try this CLI command: show system

You should see the sotfware version.

a colleague is currently using my Cisco cable and serial to usb but i will be back with the result ASAP. When i get the wires back lol, i have 45mins of my work day left and i hope to get you the results within that time if not, it will be tomorrow.
