Adding I-SID impact?

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is an impact when you add a I-SID to an existing VLAN on a 8600 running 7.x code, is there an outage or other issues?

The 8600 does not yet have IS-IS or SPBM enabled, this preparatory work to add a new Fabric Core and to ease the migration.

If SPBM/ISIS is not active, there is no impact but I'm not sure you'll be able to configure the i-sid if SPBM/ISIS is not active.

Anyway, just create a new VLAN and test on it. There is no impact on the traffic for the other vlans
