Trying to introduce an AACC 6.2 server with External Instant Messaging add on (Multi Media only no voice) into an existing ME 6.1 environment, however it's been suggested that I need to route my agent voice calls through AACC 6.2 in order to get External Instant Messaging to work which I don't want to do as I want to leave all voice calls on ME6.1. My view is that External Instant Messaging is not a voice call albeit it would need to use a SIP connection coming from the ME 6.1 environment. Any one got External Instant Messaging working on AACC without routing voice calls through AACC.
