Cognos 1.1 Installation Error: Failed to update locale Configuration File

HI,

While installing Cognos ReportNet1.1 in WFO(Quality Monitoring 10.2) for installing Enterprise Reporting, I am getting the error message "Failed to update locale Configuration File"and Installation stops at 100%.

Plz suggest some resolution.

Hi Anupam,

The error is due to bad BIT version of the Cognos installer. For a windows 64 BIT OS
Cognos 64 bit installer should be downloaded and used.
