    Avaya UCM COM Server

The Avaya UCM web interface can't be accessed anymore. Restarting the COM application server yields that the "Avaya UCM JBoss Service could not be started". There was a Java update that was done on Friday that I think cause this problem. Are there logs stored somewhere so that I can verify why it is not running properly. Would this be cause by the java update? Thanks for all the help.

I think I posted in the wrong sub forum. Can one of the mods move this over to the unified communication section?

I was able to fix the issue. For anyone that has this problem you should uninstall the Java runtime environment and down grade to the original version that UCM uses. In my case I downgraded to Java 6 update 22. It is also important for you to change the location and install the binaries in the original location which was "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_22" for my case because this is where JBOSS and other dependencies are pointing to. By default it will not install in this directory but to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6".
