    AACC Cache Database access

I am trying to allow my customer access to the Cache database in AACC for data warehousing and reporting purposes as described in the Performance Management documentation. However this starts the description of steps with comment "Before you begin; Caché Open Client is installed on your Contact Center system."

Where do I obtain the Caché Open Client? The other installers are provided on the DVD but not this, unless it it is the Sybase Open Client being referred to?? I thought the Sybase client was for migration from the legacy Nortel applications to AACC.

Can anybody please confirm what is required here.

    Thanks

Refer to the Performance manual under "Expert Reporting".

Thanks, but it is this document I am quoting above.

This document is a little vague or inaccurate in this regard and I would appreciate any help in interpretting what is actually required.

OK, storm in a teacup. I shouldn't have started at the beginning of the Expert Reports chapter and tried to work through it in order.

As far as I can tell, all the server stuff is in place and all I needed to do was install the ODBC driver on the client Workstation. I have tested this and have been able to connect to the CCMM database and pull the data back to Access as a test and after creating a new user I was able to access the CCMS database.

        Thanks for your help.
