We have installed witness CSCM ver 10.1 running on the XP platform using IE8.
After initial installation, we were getting the http 404 error and we proceeded to:
- update Java to version 7 (latest) and enable activeX on the systems.
- We included the link to the new cscm as a trusted site.
- we turned off the pop-up blocker.
- We restarted the browsers and agents could listen to calls on the new cscm.
However, I noticed this was mostly for agents running windows 7.
Several of the agents running XP still couldn't after the updates.
Error: we stopped getting the http 404 error (i.e after updates), instead when calls were selected, the place where one should see the waveform appear to indicate
recorded call, was a blank (white) box with a 'red X' at the top left corner.
Note: All systems have previous version of cscm running already and that is used to listen to calls from a different call centre. The are no problems with the older version on both the windows 7 and XP systems.
Is there anything extra we could do to resolve this problem, your help will be greatly appreciated.
