Unable to save agent settings in CCMM

I have built a cores server with all the latest updates. The server was added to the domain post installation and everything appeared to be OK. Can login to CCMA, upload scripts etc. But when it comes to changing Agent Desktop Configuration in CCMM I get the following error

"An error occurred trying to write Agent Desktop User Settings"

I have run CCMA name synch and reset iceAdmin password but it has not resolved the problem. I am assuming as these configuration changes 'must' be run from the server itself it must be a permissions problem, but I don't know where or how to resolve it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you verified the filesystem permissions under Multimedia/Agent Desktop?
There are 3 XML files that are written to.

Also are you lanching the Admin Tool via CCMA when logged into the server running CCMM? I'm assuming here that CCMM is on a standalone server.

Sorry, should have closed this when I found the solution.

It was user access control causing me the problem. Once I reduced the requirements there the problem was solved.
