During building screen utility for APC cuts the text after 255 characters

I need to know the maximum length of acceptable entry list while building Agent screen in APC. During building screen utility for APC software developing - cuts the text after 255 characters. So can you confirm that each row can really have 510 characters?
Is this a documantation mistake or my APC software failure?

APC is Avaya Proactive Contact. I haven't seen any field allowing more than 255 characters. Where in the docs did you see 510?
