Its both tested and supported to run both Client and Server Reporting Applications on both platforms with one exception: The iClarity plugin (Softphone) for the client applications isn't supported on x64 systems.
Also when installing Reporting Services and SQL some extra configuration steps may be needed on the x64 systems, depending on your choice of SQL and OS versions. You can find all this details in the documentation on the CCE4.1 install media.
