which version of windows you are using WinXP WIN7 or something else.

This error points that Windows installer experinceing problems and can be solved following three simple steps

    Step1:

To get rid of this error, I would suggest you to install the latest version of Windows Installer which you can download it from the link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

    Step2:

    Start the Windows Installer service.

    1. Click Start, type Services.msc and press [ENTER]

    2. Double-click Windows Installer.

    3. Set the Startup type of Windows Installer to Manual.

    4. Click Start to start the service. Note down the error message if any.

    5. Click OK.

    Step3:

The Windows Installer CleanUp utility deletes all files and registry settings associated with a program's Windows Installer configuration.

Refer the article below which talks about the description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

Try running the installer as an administrator.

When you perform the installation, are you logged in as yourself with administrative privaleges? That is what you need to do. Once the installation is complete and before you begin the user installation portion, you will need to log out and log back in as the user who is to use the product. Then you run the applications and set it up for the user.

Going through the config is a waist of your time. I know this as I did just that the first time.

Also do you have a single sign-on (SSO) support account. I would download the installation exe again if the above does not help. Does this help?
