One-X 2.5 Password Encryption for XML File

I am an applications developer for a BPO. One of our clients wants us to use their Avaya solution as our phone provider. That being the case one of my jobs is to design a way to push the OneX client to all of our agents (they work from home across the US). I have the installer ready but have one last thing to do. We need the phone to be auto provisioned.

We don't have a support contract with Avaya and they are unable to assist with my request. What I need to know now is how do I encrypt the passwords in the settings.xml file that will be on everyone's machine?

We cannot use a solution like the a CMS (I think that is what it is called) that auto provisions the soft phone, this has to be done via the XML files.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! I don't turn to forums unless I have exhausted all resources, so please understand...I have googled this issue to no avail.

    Hi,

Your query do not look to be for any Avaya COntact Center application.

If you are still looking for solution, please post it in IP Telephony and Convergence forum . I hope you can get some solution.
