    What are the implications of changing IP address in Avaya CT server? I mean, Avaya have to make modifications in some file regarding the IP address? Avaya CT is EoS so I need to inform to the user about any possible limitation. Regards

    Steps to change the IP address of Avaya CT:

    1) Before changing the IP address ensure that NIC settings are 100 full duplex.

    2) Goto Start --> Programs --> Avaya Computer Telephony --> TS controller

    a) Stop the service

    b) Click the Advanced button, change IP address for "Current IP address used by TSAPI telephony services". This should be the client side IP address (usually the NIC 2, if you have dual NIC configuration)

    3) Goto Start --> Programs --> Avaya Computer Telephony --> Definity G3 PBX Driver ' G3 PBX Driver Configuration

    a) Change the DEFINITY G3 PBX Driver IP address to the new IP address (NIC 1 IP address, if using dual NIC configuration.)

    b) For all the links, ensure that the IP address or Hostname is the MAPD IP address

    4) Goto Start --> Programs --> Avaya Computer Telephony --> Definity G3 PBX Driver ' G3 PBX Driver Link Change

    a) Verify that for all links IP address/Hostname reflects MAPD's IP address.

    b) Click 'Change Link(s)' button.

    5) Goto Start --> Programs --> Avaya Computer Telephony --> TS Win32 Client ' Edit TSLIB.INI

    a) Under [Telephony Servers], change the IP address to the new IP address (NIC 1 IP address, if using dual NIC configuration.)

    6) Restart the Avaya CT server machine.

    Hope this helps.
