Hi,

cmsids.log is too huge occupying / parition space.Can you suggest to reduce this filesize.This file ciritical informix log so need help .
can we redirect cmsids.log output to a text file and truncate the text file?is it a better option?
otherwise pls suggest wt best option

Hi,

First of all, we need to see reasons for cmsids growing too much.

Most probably, if IDS was not started properly or there could be issue with any IDS parameters.

If IDS is working fine, you can truncate the file. Please keep a eye on it if it stills grow.

If it still grows, please open a SR with Avaya Support so that we can look further into it.
