    CMS supervisor freezes

CMS supervisor R17 constant freezes and we have to reboot our machines in call center every 3rd – 4th day. Does anybody know what Avaya recommendations for this software? How long it should work without rebooting? What PC minimum requirements and OS version for its stable work?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please check page 42 of below doc for hardware requirements:

Avaya recommend that supervsior session should not be running more than 24 hours. It should be started everyday to create new cache file.

It is kept in mind that supervsior shift will end in every 8 hours, But in case you are using supervsior session to feed any third party, we suggest to restart session in every 24 hours or else use third party solution like RTA/BP.

    I hope it helps.

I apprecite this. And it may help a situation at my firm.

I have attempted to modify the behavior of call center manager managers who leave their PC running and CMS supervisor on for days at a time. I'm going to pass on this tip in the hopes that it will motivate a few. They don't seem to realize that their behavior has a cost in time spent by our Desktop Support and Telecommunications Administrator's time.
      Thank you,
