Hi,

We have tried a database migration and database upgrade from 16 to 16.3eg.k
However,during the Solaris patches update-reboot ,the system didnot comeup fully.Although it came up in single usermode the console and essential solaris dependent services failed to comeup,so no console login.This was briefly what happened

We had to boot from a cd,now restoring from adm restore script.but we get the below error:-
once we run the adm restore script from the backup tape,it has to reboot itself
After this,we get this error in the attachment.

can we boot in boot -F failstate mode
how do we need to proceed.kindly suggest.Should we reboot manually?

Hi,

I have not seen this error on CMS. Solaris post suggest that ther are some issues in boot archive.

You can try to reboot to see if it come up properly.

In case, it do not come up, please open support request with Avaya so that we can also engage Oracle team to look further into it.

i hope you have properly followed the migration document. still you are facing the same error please contact Administrator guy. they can ebale the ILO port on CMS & take the control via them.
