Is there a way to schedule a CMSADM backup when using NFS share?

As of now, CMS do not provide option to schedule it.

But it can be done via scripting and use cronjob to schedule it.

You can Schedule the Backup by cronjob or Script, ot Through CMS Menu recording feature
Ask your Local Avaya Support to do this. And If we talk about NFS. This can be achieve by IBM Tivoli.
