    acs_ssh script set default xterm

I created an automated script (.acsauto file) to run a report, but do not want this to pop up and require me to set the "Input terminal type (default xterm):"

The default is fine for me so I have been just pressing enter, I just want to skip this manual step if possible.

    Hi,

Please make sure you have auto in option enabled for supervisor login.

    I hope it helps.

        Hi,

Click on Connect -> CMS Servers

At bottom left, you will see "Manual Login". If it is tick in that, please un tick it.

        I hope it helps.

That didn't fix it. I added an image of what I am getting. I double click the script file, which brings up the windows in the image. I have to hit enter everytime for the script to kick off, so I can't schedule it or it get it to run automatically.

            Hi,

An automatic script launches a new Supervisor session that logs into CMS and runs the requested tasks as a background process. Script actions are not displayed on the screen. Although Supervisor provides the ability to create automatic scripts, a third-party scheduling program must be used in order to run the scripts automatically on a regular schedule

You need to export data in excel/notepad and try to schedule it.

To create a script that exports report data to the clipboard or a specified file:
            1. Run a report and display it to screen. See <A href="mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files%20(x86)\Ava ya\CMS%20Supervisor%20R17\ENU_CV.chm::/Chapter4-06.html#wp498146">Choosing a report for this procedure.

Supervisor displays the window for the selected report.
            1. From the Edit menu of the report window, select one of the following actions:

            • Export Chart Data

            • Export Table Data

            • Export All Data

The data export dialog box is displayed. The dialog that is displayed will vary according to which export option is selected.
Some of these options can also be selected from a pop-up menu by performing a right-click in the report window.
            1. <A name=wp498232>
            2. Set the appropriate options in the data export dialog, and then select the Script button.

            Important:
<A name=wp498233> Do not select OK after the options are selected.

Supervisor displays the Save as Script window.
            1. <A name=wp498235>
            2. Select a directory and file name for the script, and set the file type to either Interactive or Automatic.

            1. <A name=wp498236>
            2. Select Save.

OK, figured it out. Everything I was doing was already correct and technically working. When that screen pops up if you do nothing it will then execute the script. I had assumed it timed out when the window closed, but actually it went on to run the report. So it's working. Thanks for the help!
