CMS R17 Hostname

Hi Avaya Team.

I have a CMS R17 Installation on VMWare ESXI5.5
Now i have to change the Hostname from the CMS Server.
Is this possible without risk ? Does the database work correctly after changing the Hostname?

Hi,

I will suggest to engage Avaya Professional Team(APS) for doing it.

They do have scripts which is executed to edit hostname. Hostname needs to changes at multiple places to have IDS up and running.

Please be notified that it can be billable to engage APS.
