AACC Multimedia database encryption

Does anybody know if the AACC CCMM (multimedia) database is encrypted?...

I've read on the InterSystems website that Cache databases are encrypted by default, however I'm not sure if Avaya overrides this default behaviour - we are planning to use the AACC email channel however because of the nature of the emails we would be receiving they need to be encrypted once they are stored within Avaya.

Ideally we need something in writing to satisfy our customers security policy.

Anybody any thoughts?

Avaya have confirmed the database is not encrypted... and I've confirmed this by loading a copy of the database into Notepad.exe - all customer emails are visible in plain text.....not good!
