Changing timezone in experience portal 7.0.x from US to Australia

Please can anyone let me know what is the best approach to change the timezone in experience portal from PDT to Australian.

In my experience portal the default zone is set to Australia (NSW), but when I see my Linux with date, it shows PDT time. Also my avaya and POM logs are logged as PDT timing.

I want to bring the entire experience portal timezone to Australia so that all logs, transactions are registered with Australian timing.
