Hi,

We had some real time report issue and later on we see shared memory dump shmem.44fabf6.0 in the informix directory . why is this sharedmemory file dump created.
Can it be deleted?its even filling up the space.
Is this a known issue in R18.0.0.2 ?

Hi,

It may be because of issue on IDS configuration file. I will suggest to have Support request with Avaya so that we can look into it. If it was in /tmp, we can delete but need to see cause if they are in Informix.

you need to see dumps what had happened to your system.
shmem.xxxx files should be dumped with only wrong situation of informix.

probably, i think you would run DB init under avaya support.
