    CMS Error

    Hi Team,

How can I resolve the issue below regarding a CMS ID login? I've already uninstalled/re-installed the CMS Supervisor as well as clear the cache. Have also change the settings of the server on the CMS Supervisor. Have also change the password multiple times and unlock the affected CMS ID.

"The server did not recognize your Login ID and/or Password, your Login shell is not set to CMS, or (V8 or later CMS only) cmsadm backup is running."

    Thanks,
    Paolo

    Hi Paolo,

Are you using a newly created user or one of the built in user accounts?

    Thanks,

What version of CMS did you install? R16 or R17? What version is actually running on the CMS server?

Is the CMS Server Build Correct?

When you installed the supervisor client, what server version did you specify. I see something like this when installing a 17.x supervisor client on a CMS 15 server. You can run the installation again to insure you designate the right server release.
