    IPOCC Salesforce CRM Connector permission issue

    Hi all ,


    We have configured the CRM connector included in IPOCC 10.1. with Salesforce .

    I cannot find anything related to the necessary permissions in the documentation and it seems to only work with a specific permission "View Setup & configuration" . Our Salesforce team are understandably not happy to grant it in a production environment as it is an Admin permission which exposes all the configuration to IPOCC users .

    Has anyone came across this issue ? Thank you in advance

    Hi ,



    After a reply from Avaya stating there was no solution from their part as it is a Salesforce requirement for certain applications, we blocked the setup URL and left the permissions for each user. We blocked certain parts of a URL belonging to the same domain by performing SSL decryption at our firewall if that helps anyone as it's https traffic to Salesforce.
