cannot access avaya s8300 utility server authentication failure

I can not access the utility server on a s 8300 installed on a g450. The system is 6.3. I can access cdom, and all other web pages except the utility server

I've had this problem. The /etc/ldap.conf file gets filled with duplicate entries when the server reboots and this eventually breaks logins. Removing the bad file entries requires root permissions which Avaya irritatingly reserves only for themselves.

I was told at the time that a forthcoming service pack would fix the issue. Try installing the latest service pack. Avaya doesn't list Utility Server SPs on the support site for some unknown reason, so you'll have to go digging through PLDS to find it.

      Fix your support site, Avaya.
