I have a station that is receiving random ghost calls. Sometimes the 8410D phone displays 202 in the window and other times nothing. This only happens a few times a week. It is with the secretary to the President though, so it is a hot item.

Anyone have ideas? I have tried every setting that I can think of. ACA is off, changed physical phones. Removed and redid the extension again software wise.

Only thing I have not redone is the cabling to the phone from the PBX. I traced the lines all the way back thru the building and repunched each connection to tighten things up and make sure there are no cross lines or anything of the sort.

The 202 display is a clue. Is it a trunk access code in your system? If so, you should check your DS1 performance measurements to see if you've got a circuit bouncing or some other form of maintenance issue.
