Can I use secure connections for SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4?

With IPOCC you can use for SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 TLS as secure Connection.

The mail connection will use TLS however SSL encryption is not supported today for POP/IMAP. This is being looked at for an enhancement for a future release.

However, you can use a program such as hMailserver as a relay. Run it on the Voicemail computer, have the IPO send the email there, have hMailserver relay it out to your server that requires SSL
