Enable PUSH feature on J179 Phone to receive message from 3rd party application

I have Avaya J179 IP Phones in use with IP Office R10+ with an IP Office R12 Essential upgrade license. I have found the linked documentation below that shows the PUSH feature can be enabled when used with Aura, but am not able to find documentation that specifically states using the Push feature is supported with IP Office. Can these parameters be added to the 46xxsettings.txt for the J179 phones when used with IP Office?
