Soft Phone and Avaya Communicator Resiliency for IPOCC

    I have two similar questions

a)Does IPO Server edition version 9.0 (primary and secondary) support the resilience for the Ip Office video softphone application when primary server is down?

b)Does IPO Server edition version 9.1 (primary and secondary) support the resilience for the Ip Office Avaya Communicator application when primary server is down?

    Regards.

Soft Phone and Avaya Communicator Resiliency for IPO

It is actually an IPO question. Sorry for using wrong thread. But answer is found with ATAC's help which is written below:

a)Does IPO Server edition version 9.0 (primary and secondary) support the resilience for the Ip Office video softphone application when primary server is down?

=> No, as it is a SIP phone.

b)Does IPO Server edition version 9.1 (primary and secondary) support the resilience for the Ip Office Avaya Communicator application when primary server is down?

=> No, as it is a SIP phone.

      IPOCC with SIP softphone

I think Avaya does not allow SIP softphone with IPOCC ... you may need to look into ACCS ..

The resilienciy supports only h.323 phones. I have other question, do you have sip trunks on the server primary? My question is because I have a issue with the resiliency sip trunks when the primary server fails.
