IPOCC Workplaces

Does anyone know the purpose for this area of Administration > Configuration? It seems you can enter the extension for each PC. My implementation is on a windows domain so the agents aren't required to select their extension anyway.

I've wondered the same thing. It appears that you can associate a particular extension for the purposes of reporting or terminal servers, but I'm not sure either... I am in the IPOCC lab this week and will be sure to ask and post the response for you...

With workspace one can assign a fix extension to a PC. This is not necessary in IPOCC, because during login the agent is asked for his telephone. This area will be removed in version 10 in order to simplify.
