Does IP Office log phone calls by default?

    Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if IP Office logs incoming and outgoing phone calls? If it does can you please tell me the default storage location for said logs?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    David

No. The IP Office supports output the call log details of each call to the IP address in a format call SMDR. A server running any of a whole range of 3rd-party call accounting packages can collect and process those records.

If really desperate, you can set the IP address details to send the records to a Syslog server where you could view them but processing the call logs by hand is not easy (a call that's be answered and then transferred around, into a conference, held and picked up again, creates separate records for each stage of the call).
