    Avaya IP office 500 v2

I have 3 telephone lines in my office. here are the things i need to achieve
    1. I want 1 specific line reserved for a specific extension
    2. remaining 2 lines to be distributed among all other extensions
    3. I want to direct incoming calls for 3 lines to the extension i choose.
    4. is it possible to direct incoming call on a specific line to 2 extension same time.
    5. There is a delay for incoming call on 1 of the line. The phone ring only 3 times and then it turns down. how to fix it

This can be done in many ways, the following is only an example.

    1. For the private line, change the lines Incoming Group ID from 0 to 10. In Incoming Routes, create a new route with the Group ID 10 and set its destination to the users.

Also set the lines outgoing group ID to 10 and set a Line ID such as 1001. On the user for the private extension add a Line Appearance button for 1001. Then their normal dialing will go via any available line but they can use the line appearance button to use their private line.

    2. For the other lines, just create a group containing all the users who should answer incoming calls and make the group the destination for the Incoming Call Route that is set to Group ID 0.

    3. See 1 and 2 above.

    4. See 2 above.

    5. Three rings is roughly about the default time before a call goes to voicemail or follows a forward on no answer settings. Without knowing what is in your system configuration we can't say much more.
