IPOCC Scheduled Report Corrupt

Occasionally when one of the many scheduled reports come through, excel sees it as a corrupt file. Has anyone else seen this?
I am scheduling excel and pdf files to come in at the same time, the pdf is fine

I have never heard about corrupted excel files. Is there something special in the excel report? Does the issue occur always or sometimes? which operating system? any hints in the ttrace log of the statistic_scheduler?
