IP phone 1603SW-I install SIP firmware

We have IP phone 1603SW-I sn: 14WZ2517016S boot app ha1603ua1_360A.bin

The firmware needs to be changed to SIP. The SIP version from your website 16xx-IPT-SIP-R1_0_1-080910.zip is not installed via HTTP server.

The bootloader hb1603ua1_2200.bin is not being written.

I came to this conclusion because I also can't install version 16xx_H323R1_2_2.zip with the same boot loader. The internet says that there is a SIP version 1.3.4
Is there any way to install SIP firmware on this phone?

Official support refuses to help because I bought this phone on eBay and I don't have a "Sold To number".

Not sure where you're seeing references to SIP. The 16xx endpoint is H.323 only.

The SIP firmware for 1600 Series phones is largely forgotten because it went end-of-sale in December 2014.

It reached full end-of-support for existing customers (if there were any and they had purchased extended support contracts rather) in 2020.

The release 1.1 firmware in 2009 switched to H323 and its been that way since which is why the SIP option is totally forgotten.

How can this information help me? If you can't help, you'd better keep quiet.
I bought a phone that claims to support SIP, but it doesn't work. To my knowledge there were newer SIP firmware on the AVAYA website, which they subsequently removed.
I am therefore asking for help from the community.

Sorry if an honest and accurate answer offends you, but any problem that you have is with whoever sold you the phone.

              Hi guys,
I have 15 trunk sip license channels installed on AVAYA IP OFFICE main server (Edition 11.1.3 virtual machine server) and working perfectly
When testing resiliency on the secondary server, everything seems to work except Trunk sip permit.
strangely, when I distribute the license between the two servers, 10 for primary and 5 for secondary, it works. Please
              , help me,
              THANKS.

                1. Please start a new thread for a new topic, rather than attaching it to a thread with a different subject.

                2. You've already asked this in other forums and been given the answer. That doesn't change by asking again. SIP trunk licenses are not part of IP Office resilience. You need to license the trunks on both systems as they are both useable during normal operation. During resilience, the trunk licenses from the system that has gone down won't automatically move to the system that is still running.
