    Link for service packs

Anyone know if there is a matrix for Service pack v's patch number?

    as in

CM 5.2.1 Patch 18576 that you can look at and see that it is in fact Service pack 6.

    Hope that makes sense.

A PCN (Product Correction Notice) is written/updated each time there is a SP (Service Pack) released. The PCN contains the details that will help you. For example: PCN 1691P is for SPs for CM (Communication Manager) 5.2.1

Avaya S8xx0 Servers and Avaya Common Server HP® ProLiant DL360 G7 running
Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 5.2.1 software load R015x.02.1.016.4.

As the PCN is updated to contain the latest SP info, it will also contain the previous SP details. Some examples from the PCN:

    - June 13, 2011 – Supplement 10 introduced Service Pack #9 (02.1.016.4-18942.tar.gz) for Communication Manager 5.2.1.

    - April 4, 2011 – Supplement 9 introduced Service Pack #8 (02.1.016.4-18855.tar.gz) for Communication Manager 5.2.1.

    - March 23, 2011 – Supplement 8 introduced Service Pack #7.01 (02.1.016.4-18854.tar.gz) for Communication Manager 5.2.1.

    - February 24, 2011 – Supplement 7 introduced Service Pack #7 (02.1.016.4-18759.tar.gz) for Communication Manager 5.2.1.

    - December 6, 2010 – Supplement 6 introduced Service Pack #6 (02.1.016.4-18576.tar.gz) for Communication Manager 5.2.1.

and so on. This PCN is specifically for CM 5.2.1. The patch file name contains the patch number as well. So 02.1.016.4-18576.tar.gz is SP 7 and patch number is 18576.

How would you know the PCN numbers? There is "Service Pack Schedule" link that will list PCNs for most of othe CM versions. this sheet contains info for other products and not just CM. So let's say if you're looking for CM 6.0.1, then PCN 1718P would be the one. http://support.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100067004

How do you find the PCNs? visit: http://support.avaya.com, choose the category "Communication Manger", expand the category "Product Notices" and choose your version of "Avaya Aura Communication Manager".

    Hope this helps.
