2050 IP phone via VPN

Dear All,

We have licenses to use the 2050 IP softphone.

Can we use this phones from outside office via VPN. Would you please assist me with the necessary setup?

You will need to have a VPN gateway in your office and compatible VPN software on the PC. Use the VPN software on the PC to create a tunnel into your office via the VPN gateway and the 2050 should work. If you are going to have the 2050 on two different remote PCs so therefore using two different tunnels, then remember to enable routing between those tunnels or you will not be able to talk from one 2050 to the other.

Yes we do have the VPN facility through Cisco VPN client.
mmmm, so once we land in the office the soft phone should work ...
