Remote connectivity to CM 5.2.1

Hi....We are running CM 5.2.1 on HP DL360 server and SES 5.2.1 as well...

We donot have any modem connectivity to these servers. From where can I found the document on this. Basically we want avaya global services to remotely login in these server to support us on critical cases. so far no remote connection for them..

Hi Amit,

When using the DL360 G7 server with CM 5.2.1 the default method of remote access is via the SAL architecture
There are some BPs/customers who are not yet ready to move to the SAL method of remote access and alarming and so it will also be possible to utilize a modem for INADS alarm reporting and remote access as has historically been done.
In those instances where modem remote access and alarming is administered, it will utilize the same modem architecture and protocols that are used on the S8300 and S87xx servers today. The same USB modem (US Robotics, comcode 700464506) model that is used today is to be used to support this CM 5.2.1 functionality. The USB modem will be connected to one of the standard USB ports on the DL360 G7 server
