    Processor Ethernet CM 6.0 / 6.2

    Folks,

What might the repercusssions be of enabling processor ethernet on duplex common servers. Will there be a service disruption, does CM have to restart?

If I enable on the standby server then interchange will I disrupt service?

    Thanks

Processor Ethernet comes turned on by default. The customer just needs to administer it and there will be no service disruption.

      Thanks

For reasons I am unaware of, the processor ethernet was disabled at install. It should be noted that on the CM virtual machine, that eth0 and eth 1 are restarted. This is on a duplex system so no harm no foul. I'm not sure if I would have the same results on a simplex system which may result in a short outage?
