96X1 SIP Registration

Can anyone recommend a doc or perhaps an existing thread, which describes the steps needed to register 96X1 phones as SIP end points?

I have them created in CM, have them mapped in the off station map, have a SIP Trunk created to SM.. just missing how to manage them in System Manager. Do I need to add the CM to the System manager, etc?
