1692 language change

Hello, how do I change the language to Spanish for the 1692 (firmware 1.4) phone? We have Utility Services installed. The Spanish xml file is accessible as http://<Utility Services IP address>/1692Localization/Spanish_Spain/1692-dictionary.xml
and we have declared "set SYSLANG Spanish_Spain" in 46xxsettings.txt . The extension of the phone is also set to "Spanish" in the station mask in ACM. What are we missing? The "Utility Services" log shows no attempt by the 1692 at downloading the localization file.

Try the following in the 46xxsettings.txt file:
SET SYSLANG Spanish

We had tried that already, thanks, without success. On the Utility Server log, we can see that the 1692 phone downloads 46xxsettings.txt but then it does not attempt to download the language file.

1692 does not interpret correctly some of the syntax in 46xxsettings.txt

So there is an update on this topic: there is really an issue with 1692 interpreting the 46xxsettings.txt file. Check this out for a work-around:
