    IPSI lockups

Over the last couple of years I've seen IPSI lockups. The board is still pingable but that's is. An "ipsisession" command comes back reporting SSH is enabled, but one cannot SSH to the board and the port network is out of service.
The only resolution was to physically reset the board.

Most recently this occured on a CM 5.2.1 system with IPSI firmware version 51.

Has anyone seen this happen besides me and were there any indicators as to why?

    IPSI Lockup Issue

    Hello,

Yes i have seen this issue before as well and the only solution to this is to physically reseat the IPSI board.

The reason behind is that sometimes, any service running on the IPSI board acquires any port on this board, hence blocks other users to interrupt the service. Hence, we are able to ping the board but unable to ssh it. So in that case we need to reseat the board.

    Thanks,
