We are setting up for VOIP but the phone will not go into the VOIP vlan on our dhcp switch. When we plug our phones in it go to dhcp and gets an address but never makes it to the voip scope thus not getting the correct IP address. I have added an attachment of the layout/flow of our network. Any help would be great!!

Can you please remove the "L2QVLAN" from the Voice Scope?
You can capture a sniffer trace on the 4610 phone's port to check out the DHCP msgs. (You may attach to this thread).Last edited by suny; 05-08-2013, 01:48 AM. -
In Data VLAN ensure that the following String should be there in scope Option
Both Option 176 & 242 L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=11,
Here Data Vlan means that the Vlan which is used for providing IP to PC from DHCP.
Also ensure that Both the Vlan is configured in the Switch .
L2QVLAN=11, 11is the Voice Vlan
