I was upgrading 9408 phones to firmware 94xxT6.bin.. In CM5.2.1, SMI web page / firewall field there is option to enable TFTP. So i was able to upload the file and phone upgraded. Now in MES62 template: In CM6.2 there is no TFTP option under firewall field of SMI web page. So I am getting TFTP not reachable error in CM. I am confident that this error is coming because I was not able to enable tftp in CM6.2. BBE told me gthat use Utility Server for that. They have removed the TFTP option form the CM6 onwards. I don't agree with that. Like, in CM 6 with Duplex environment, we don't have Utility Server available so how to complete this job here.

Hi,
Even if you have a duplex CM solution download the utility Server and install on a VM cluster if possible.
It will resolve issue and also it has much more functionality than just TFTP -
CM no longer ships with a native TFTP server. I personally recommend a free app like tftpd32 which is simple and works great. You can run it on your local PC and have CM connect to it to download the files.Comment
