Paging a Hunt Group and PA System simultaneously

I am trying to come up with a solution so that one number can be called to broadcast notifications across campus.

Currently, we have a hunt group set up for all digital office extensions and a short code to that hunt group with the "Dial Paging" feature so that we can alert all offices at once of emergencies etc.

In addition, we have a Bogen PA system connected to an analog extension so that voice alerts can be broadcast throughout the campus buildings (classrooms, dorms, etc). When the analog extension is dialed, the Bogen system will automatically answer and broadcast the callers voice.

Here's what I'm trying to do: I want to be able to dial a number or short code and broadcast to both systems simultaneously.

I've tried using short codes, but the best I could come up with is a conference call, and I can't seem to find any way to do that with one singe extension or short code. Any advice or input would be much appreciated.

Use an Analog Station port configured as a Paging Speaker. Put it and the other extensions into a Hunt Group, and create your short code to do Dial Paging to the Hunt Group.

It's not easy to get the analog station ports to work for paging, sometimes you have to put a 600-ohm resistor across Tip and Ring, set the port as a paging speaker, and then reboot the IPO before the port will start working for paging output.
