Employee was trying to get an outside line and mistakenly thought she needed to dial 91-1 (area code + xxx-xxxx). She was not trying to dial 911. However, this call acted like a 911 call in that it activated crss-alrt on front office phones. Normally a 911 call will activate both crss-alrt on our phones and will dial outside to emergency services. This particular call did not dial out. Why did this call activate crss-alrt on our phones but not dial out to emergency services? Pulled reports for date/time in question and no record of the call as 911. Any info appreciated. Thanks
